ceramic audio motion installation

Ceramics, Copper Tape, Laptop Midi, Touchboard, Amplifer, Transducer, Petridish. 2025

Little ceramic fairies surround a fallen angel. As she lays in the center of the fairies, they sing to her to revive her soul. As they sing their song her soul is reverberated through the water ripples. This interactive sound and motion ceramics installation connects the ceramic pieces through a copper wire to a Touchboard, which connects to a Laptop midi player, to an amplifer, to a transducer which a petri dish is placed upon. When a person touches the ceramic figure, a voice paired with a hertz frequency is played from the transducer which makes cymatic patterns in the water. A revival of the angel's soul by the voices of her peers.
